This fabulous ring is a fully wrapped teaspoon made of an Old English design spoon. I have hammered it to give a gorgeous texture that catches the light. Nearest to ring size R-S. 
 
These teaspoons carry a mysterious history all of their own. Many of my spoons are at least 70 years old with many going back over a century. I often wonder if in a previous life were they a wedding gift, displayed in a cabinet for years? Were they used daily to stir a little old lady's cup of tea or were they the collection of a fancy restaurant or big house? We will never know, but we do know they are very old and have a wonderful new history of adventures still waiting to happen!
