These fine and delicate ear rings are made from part of the matching sides of a pair of vintage EPNS sugar tongs. They are extremely light weight and hung on steel wires.
 
If you would prefer a stud fastening please let me know at point of order and I can change these for you at no extra cost. 
 
NB: I have extremely sensitive skin/ears and wear surgical steel earrings 24/7. Surgical Steel is 100% hypoallergenic and will not irritate even the most delicate of lobes.
 
All of my items are made from upcycled vintage cutlery and each piece carries a mysterious history all of it's own. Many of the items are at least 70 years old with many going back over a century. I often wonder if in a previous life were they a wedding gift, displayed in a cabinet for years? Were they used daily at tea and cake time or were they part of a collection in a fancy restaurant or big house? We will never know, but we do know they are very old and have a wonderful new history of adventures still waiting to happen!
